We have tried to track our advertising for years and there will always be those that want to have “paper in their hands”. Yes even in the Real Estate Market buyers shop the internet first but will always buy through agents. We in the relocation industry and relocation departments in the Real Estate Companies in St. Louis & across the country send out a relocation book. That book is crictical in our relocation arena... it has a “carry with you” referrence on communities, healthcare, events & attractions, schools, it is our life line for our buyers coming into St. Louis & makes a beautiful presentation. I have had many issues “shipped” to location where i'm making a corporate presentation (setting up resource rooms) for transferees to pick up & take home the information. We over the 12 years that I have been in this position have wondered if we should go to a disk format, but my “paper relocation book” always wins out with the agents and corporations. Transferee's (buyers & sellers) go to our company website & reguest that I send them our book. I make reference to the relocation book but the main component is your publication.

Your Map and Directory is a critical piece of information we provide to our many relocating clients. Our agents use these maps primarily for people from out of town. Out of town clients very much appreciated having the maps to use in the car as they go to see homes, or if they drive around on their own. It is also a good way for them to become familiar with the advertisers. Since we have run out of maps, agents are repeatedly inquiring as to when we can get more. They are very popular!

I wanted to let you know the value I see in using the maps provided to us through your company. In the age of the internet, many maps can be printed off and provided to clients from other Real Estate firms, However, the quality of the maps the overall presentation, as well the local advertisements are not apart of this presentation when printed from the internet sites. This advertisement drives consumers through the doors. In addition, in my office, I use these maps for each of my buyers' packets as well as the Relocation packages I provide to my agents working with clients moving into the North GA, Forsyth Co. area through a Relocation opportunity. Often times, these maps are use to guide the transferees around the communities when they are not with my agents.

Thank you for contacting us about the St. Louis Community Profiles Guide and the St. Louis Map & Directory that we obtain through the St. Louis Association of Realtors. We have used these publications for many years, in quantity, both in our branch offices and in our corporate relocation department.
Our sales agents like to use them with home buyers, both local moves and transferees into our area. Our relocation coordinators work with corporate human resources personnel and use them particularly with large group moves into St. Louis. Despite the community information and mapping devices available on the internet, we still find that home buyers like to have hard copies of materials and really use printed maps to orient themselves when in the car looking at homes.
